Blue Bird Corporation's Xcel 102

To meet the changing needs of the commercial bus industry and its customers, Blue Bird Corporation has introduced the all-new Xcel 102, a wider, more spacious transit and shuttle bus with an appealing price tag.

Manufactured for the transit and shuttle markets, the Xcel 102 has updated and improved features, including more interior space, wider doors and improved driver ergonomics.

The Xcel 102 is the first bus in the ten-year market to have a 102" width. The increased width allows for a larger landing area, open accessibility for wheelchairs and more interior space. The 35" floor height and two-step entry provide easier boarding and exiting along with increased headroom.

The Xcel 102 has replaceable, flexible lower skirts, which allow the panels to be replaced easily and quickly. The standard rear roof exhaust keeps the Xcel 102 clean and looking like new, and the advanced electrical system meets current SAE J1939/1587 standards.

The Xcel 102 boasts a new dash design, easy to read guages and a re-designed driver's area, all for a better driving experience.

The Xcel 102 is available in three sizes: under 30', 35' and 40'.

Blue Bird Corporation continues to set industry standards with its innovative design and manufacturing of school buses, commercial buses and Wanderlodge motor coaches. Founded in 1927, Blue Bird has nearly 3,000 employees and four plants in two countries. Blue Bird has an extensive network of dealers and service parts facilities across the country.
